The guns silent, no longer spitting death
No bomb will screaming tear
Each child will eat, without a tear
No woman hurt
No family’s home destroyed
No toy broken in the dirt
Feed our children not those bombs
Elevate the mother
Care for the infant child, the father’s pride
Put away your generals, hide
Send your armies home a quiet ride
